About the Sino-German Energy Partnership

This event was co-organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) under the framework of the Sino-German Energy Partnership, the official platform for bilateral dialogue and cooperation between China and Germany on energy transition. The German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) supports the Partnership in corporation with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the National Energy Administration (NEA) of China.

The Sino-German Energy Partnership offers various Business-to-Government (B2G) formats to incorporate industry interests into the political dialogues. Held at least once annually, Business Roundtables bring together German and Chinese companies, government representatives, and other relevant stakeholders. Each roundtable addresses a specific thematic topic or industry in line with the ongoing activities of the Energy Partnership. Participants discuss the latest sector advancements, identify challenges, and explore potential collaborations.
